David trained as a primary school teacher in English and Drama with a B.Ed (Hons), and has since worked as an actor, storyteller, theatre director, writer and arts consultant specialising in drama. He has over 30 years experience of working in the arts with a range of groups, especially children and young people. Since 1981, when he founded Tiebreak Theatre Company, his stage productions have been performed in the USA, Canada, continental Europe and throughout the United Kingdom - over 65 plays for half a million young people across the world. He has served on many committees, including the Children's Theatre Association/ASSITEJ, Creative Arts East and Norfolk Arts Forum. He is currently working as a Creative Agent for Creative Partnerships, Norfolk.
