| This thorough and illuminating resource has been developed by the Royal Shakespeare Company to offer teachers practical sessions and worksheets for three of Shakespeare's most popular plays: Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream. It incorporates approaches developed both in rehearsal rooms and by the Education Department of the RSC, covering a whole range of drama techniques such as Whoosh!, Voices in the Head, Living Newspaper, Ensemble Reading and Five Point Chase, with support from some of todays leading drama experts. The activities are all mapped to the KS3 Framework for English and KS2 Primary Framework for Literacy objectives, and offer suggestions for homework activities. The accompanying DVD provides printable versions of all worksheets. |
