Course Tutor: David Farmer

David Farmer will deliver this brand new course comprising several lesson plans suitable for KS1 and KS2 teachers to use in the primary school classroom or drama club. David is currently developing a new book of drama lessons and will demonstrate several of these on the day – with lesson plans to take away. The course content is completely different to our ever-popular Drama in the Primary Curriculum course. If you have attended the other course we know you will love this one – but it is open to all teachers and no prior knowledge is necessary.

In addition there will be time allocated to work in small groups on developing drama ideas linked to themes and stories which participants are planning to teach. You are encouraged to bring along any ideas, stories and topics to work on. This will generate additional material to teach and we will share the ideas afterwards via DropBox and Google Drive.

  • Includes full notes and lesson plans so that you can concentrate on participating in the activities
  • Attendance Certificate presented

What They Said about Drama in the Primary Curriculum:

“The primary curriculum course is full of playful invention, underpinned by a wealth of experience and knowledge.” – Hannah Rose, September 2018

“It was just what I needed – a wide selection of games and activities that I can use straight away, especially as I’ve had no drama training.” – Laura Kennedy, July 2018

“What an incredibly inspiring day of training! Trying out new games, meeting some wonderful teachers and receiving expert advice and guidance from David Farmer.” – White Rabbit Drama Club, September 2018

This one-day Drama INSET course is suitable for teachers, teaching assistants and freelancers from schools and other organisations.
