The second TheatrEd Theatre in Education Congress took place at the Pablo Picasso Theatre in Buenos Aires in May 2018. I was invited to present two keynotes, one on Drama in Language Teaching and one on Shakespeare. The videos below are from the Shakespeare presentation, with members of the audience up on the stage taking part. The first shows a Whoosh Storytelling of part of Midsummer Night’s Dream and the second two look at the Flock of Birds movement game used to show (i) a Lovers’ Farewell and (ii) a slow-motion fight between two gangs. These are not choreographed but improvised in the moment using a follow-the-leader technique.
