What They Said…

…about The Inspiring Drama Teacher

‘Thank you so much for your lovely email and feedback. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the course and taken so much away from it. You have truly given me so many useful ideas, themes and games that have made my teaching so much easier. Have previously used your books widely, so I’m excited to do even more this year.’

Becky Oliver, Wales, UK

‘This course came to me at a time when I needed something to think about that had nothing to do with covid and it was a wonderful distraction, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.’
Amanda Munday, UK

‘I have never had any formal drama teaching myself, but ended up teaching drama as no-one else would… David builds a layer of tools that you can easily adapt to create fun, engaging, powerful, and informative lesson plans. It is indeed inspiring!’
Michelle Godfrey, Canada

‘Thank you for the amazing course. I felt very supported throughout. I loved seeing the activities in action! I have also received the drama books today and can’t wait to read them.’
Priyanthi Williams, Tanzania

‘I adore the fact that each one of the techniques you suggest is chosen carefully for its importance and special meaning. This gives a boost of confidence to the teacher and a feeling of quality and respect to the whole class. Thank you David for transmitting your valuable experience in such an explicit way!’
Theodora Nakou, Thessaloniki, Greece

‘You are a master and I have so enjoyed being able to share in your knowledge! I have also now thought about how I could empower some of the teachers at my school with drama skills for their classes’
Louise Yeadon, South Africa

‘Your course was amazing. It’s been interesting, engaging and, most importantly, very practical, providing activities which I could really use in class. At the beginning of the school year I was asked to teach a drama class and I felt completely lost. I found your course online and it really saved me! I tried out almost all the activities you suggested and they were a huge success. My students, Italian teens in a state middle school, were enthusiastic,  and I started feeling more and more confident. At the end of the school year we managed to perform a short and simplified version of Romeo and Juliet (which seemed really impossible at the beginning!) and it was a very fulfilling experience for us all.’
Roberta Carnevale, Italy

‘Love seeing the activities in action. Short concise examples which are straight to the point. Love how flexible it is as well – able to pop in when I can!’

Bridie King, Australia

‘The format of the course is just right. I’m supposed to be switching off from school for the hols! But this course is so enjoyable and I can’t help but be inspired. The units were interesting and fun to do – and manageable (time wise), a really well designed course.’
Kate Beverly, Scotland

‘Thank you so much for all the lessons and the added extras. I am enjoying the straight-forward, step-by-step lessons. The timing is perfect as I shall use some/all of these ideas and stories in my lessons this term, after the students have taken their exams next week.’
Lucy Cooper, UK
